Alan began serving as Youth Minister at the Leander Church of Christ in March 2012.  Before coming to Leander, he served as Youth Minister at the Elliott Street Church of Christ in Breckenridge, TX, while continuing his studies at Abilene Christian University. He graduated from ACU in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth and Family Ministry and then again in 2011 with the Master of Divinity degree.  He married Tracy in her hometown of Fort Collins, CO, in May 2008, and they have two children, Caleb and Shelby.  Alan enjoys most anything outdoors, from hunting and fishing to camping and playing disc golf.
 
Alan transitioned into a new role as Discipleship Minister in August 2026 and desires to help all church members take their next step as we all seek to be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ.

Janet began faithfully and consistently serving the Leander Church of Christ as secretary in 2002. Before her time here, she worked for 31 years at the Texas Department of Insurance's Fraud Unit.  Here, however, Janet handles such tasks as greeting visitors to the building during the week, church correspondence, ensuring prayer request are sent out to the entire church family, creating the church bulletin and a myriad of other jobs throughout the week. She serves a vital role in our ministry staff and we are blessed to have her here.

Janet has a very caring spirit and is truly concerned about our church. That is why she loves her job. Make sure you support her and pray for her as she works diligently in this ministry.
