The Right Questions

In order to get the right answers, you have to ask the right questions. Difficult moments in life challenge us to examine our expectations of God and His kingdom. When John the Baptist, finds himself in prison, he questions if Jesus is truly the One. This story reminds us that even the greatest among us can experience doubt. Jesus doesn't rebuke John for his questions, teaching us that our doubts can be stepping stones to deeper faith when we bring them honestly before God. As we navigate our own 'prisons' of doubt in difficult circumstances, we're invited to ask ourselves: Do we truly believe in a personal God who knows our situation, is capable of handling it, and has our best interests at heart? This perspective shift can bring peace amidst turmoil and help us trust in God's greater plan, even when it doesn't match our expectations.
