Made For A Purpose
What if the greatest masterpiece ever created isn't hanging in a museum, but is actually you? This powerful message takes us back to Genesis, where God creates the world and calls it good, but only after creating humanity does He call it very good. We are God's masterpiece, crafted in His image with exceptional quality, originality, and purpose. The Hebrew word 'bara' is used exclusively for God's creative work, emphasizing that we are not accidents or mistakes, but intentional creations of the Master Artist. Drawing from Ephesians 2:10, we discover that we are God's 'poiema,' His work of art, created in Christ Jesus for good works. But here's the beautiful truth: we're not finished yet. Like clay in the potter's hands, God is still shaping us, refining us through our struggles and failures. What we see as broken, God sees as an opportunity to mold us into something greater. The challenge before us is to surrender to His hands, stay connected to the body of Christ, and step into the purpose He has designed for us. When we do, we become living displays of His masterpiece, reflecting His glory in everyday moments of kindness, service, and love.
