Compassion

We continue our 'Family Matters' series with this powerful message that confronts us with a radical truth that shatters our comfortable assumptions about compassion and righteousness. Drawing from Mark 1 and Luke 5, we encounter Jesus healing a leper and dining with tax collectors - not out of obligation or superiority, but from genuine compassion that moved him to his very core. The teaching challenges us to examine our true motivations when we help others. Are we acting from guilt, fear of being bad Christians, or worse, pity that positions us as superior to those we're helping?
