In The Beginning

Understanding the identify of yourself, the identity of God, and the identity of the others is a pre-requisite to life in the Kingdom. God made a unique identity in you. He’s never done it before. And He’ll never do it again. The enemy will do anything to keep you from knowing what that identity actually is.

The scripture tells us that the kingdom that is in part now, but in fullness in the new heavens and new earth is a restoration of the Edenic mission. When Jesus comes back, He comes to put back what was lost in the garden. He comes that God may be in the midst of us, and walk in the cool of the day with us. He comes to erase all brokenness to usher in an eternity of God’s original intent. To see the redemption of the sons and daughters of God and His creation which groans eagerly for His coming.

In a very real way, we can’t understand the kingdom, without understanding the beginning. The beginning of creation, the beginning of us, and understanding the God who intricately put it all together. But understanding the beginning and what it means to our identity will require us to take off our Sunday School glasses, and dig much deeper to see things through "a new window".
