Why would God intervene and disrupt a civilization that was unified in their language, culture, and their mission? Isn't that the goal? If no human thriving came about by human striving to glorify self, what if God loves us too much to let the cycle continue? What if Babel wasn't so much a punishment as it was a redemptive project for humanity.
